
On today’s menu we have some vegan strawberry cream cheese! YES, this is totally vegan and made out of tofu! I know some of you all will be skeptical at first but trust me, you won’t even taste the tofu, and the texture is amazing.
I used this vegan cream cheese recipe to top my homemade bagels! There is a recipe on my blog of how I made these bagels when I made my homemade bagel bites!
This recipe only uses 4 ingredients and it took me less than 10 minutes from start to finish. All you have to do is throw everything into a high speed blender and blend it until the mixture is smooth! There are so many different flavor variations you can make with this recipe. I would not recommend making a plain version because the tofu flavor might be a little too strong. It is hard to get that cream cheese flavor at home with no milk!
Store this in an air tight container in the fridge. It will stay fresh for 1-2 weeks!

Key ingredients for this vegan strawberry cream cheese:
- Tofu
- Yes, tofu! I know this may sound weird at first, but trust me the texture is amazing! I used firm tofu and it worked great. There are other variations of tofu, like extra firm and silky, but I haven’t tried them out yet!
- Freeze dried strawberries
- Freeze dried strawberries work great for this recipe! I do not recommend using actual strawberries or frozen strawberries because it will water down the cream cheese.
- Maple syrup
- This just adds a touch of sweetness! I think it is necessary for this recipe because the freeze dried strawberries don’t provide that much sweetness.
- Lemon juice
- I added this too keep some freshness in the recipe! Don’t skip on this ingredients because it brings all the flavors together.

Vegan Strawberry Cream Cheese
Ingredients
- 6 oz Firm tofu
- ⅓ cup freeze dried strawberries
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- In a high speed blender, add the tofu and blend until a smooth texture forms.
- Add in the freeze dried strawberries and maple syrup. Blend until well combined.
- Transfer mixture to a air tight container and serve!
